Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Intravenous Therapy (IR) Clinical Navigator Registered Nurse in Montclair, NJ.

• Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.

Responsibilities:

• The Clinical Navigator RN demonstrates critical thinking, initiative and expertise in oncology.
• He/she will provide care coordination throughout the cancer continuum.
• In addition, the Clinical Navigator RN is responsible to coordinate and provide survivorship information for ongoing health and wellness according to the Commission on Cancer (CoC) standard requirements. 

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing. 
• 2+ years’ experience as an Oncology Registered Nurse. 
• Current valid NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. 
• Fluency in the English language to function in job environment appropriately. 
• Demonstrate knowledge of clinical guidelines (e.g. NCCN, AJCC, CoC) and specialty resources throughout the disease process. 

Preferred Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. 
• Oncology Certified Nurse. 
• Must be willing to obtain within 1 year of employment. 
• Demonstrate knowledge of current computer systems, equipment or programs used in the organization, knowledge of Epic. 
• Bilingual.
