Clinical Microbiology Lead / MT Coordinator ($31-$48/hr)

We're hiring an experienced Clinical Microbiology Technologist who is ready to take on a greater role in laboratory operations, technical support, and team development.

This full-time Microbiology Coordinator opportunity combines hands-on clinical testing with the chance to become a go-to resource for fellow laboratory professionals.

Compensation: $31.00-$48.00/hour

Shift: Evening Shift, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM Additional shift options may be available upon request

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• 40 hours per week
• Every Other Weekend
• No On-Call

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform microbiology testing, culture workups, organism identification, and susceptibility testing
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support
• Help train and mentor laboratory professionals
• Assist with quality assurance activities, workflow improvements, and method validations
• Support accurate, timely reporting and consistent laboratory procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology, or a related science
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical microbiology experience
• Strong knowledge of bacteriology, cultures, Gram stains, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing
• ASCP certification preferred
• Experience with automated microbiology instrumentation is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to mentor and support others
