Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist – Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field as required by clients.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• Laboratory licensure in the appropriate specialty if required by state regulations.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Technologist.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Experience in a hospital laboratory environment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume inpatient laboratory testing.
• Familiarity with automated chemistry, hematology, and microbiology instrumentation.
• Prior experience working evening shifts in a hospital setting.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: PM 10.
• Shift Pattern: 4x10.
• Shift Timing noted in order as covering 0000–2400 for evening coverage.
• Location: Atlanta, GA.
