Behavioral Pediatrics of Rural Georgia seeks an RN to join our team as a nurse manager. Our office evaluates and treats children from across Georgia for autism spectrum disorder, complex ADHD, anxiety disorders, ARFID and Tourette’s. Families are often overwhelmed when they come to us. Our clinicians clarify the diagnosis, provide medication management, and teach behavioral interventions. Our case managers connect families to resources, find local resources, provide emotional support and facilitate compliance. Our multidisciplinary team is continually growing to meet the needs of southeast Georgia. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with case manager lead, ABA clinic manager, CFO, CEO, clinical and nonclinical staff
- Assist with staff scheduling, hiring, quality assurance, etc.
- Draft, manage and implement chronic and principal care management plans in collaboration with lead nurse case manager
- Assist with drug prior authorizations
- Collaborate with external partners including PCP offices, DFCS, schools and therapy providers
- Make referrals
Requirements:
- Active nursing license
- Clean criminal background check
- Able to communicate well with parents having a variety of backgrounds, abilities, and communication styles
- Excellent organizational, time management, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Management interest
- Interest in pediatric mental and behavioral health
Job Type:
- Full-time, no nights, weekends, or holidays
Pay:
- Starting at $29 hourly depending on experience.
