The Department of OBGYN is seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about maternal/fetal nursing, energized by change, highly motivated and is seeking an opportunity to maintain direct clinical care delivery. The individual will be responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations for the Penn Medicine Washington Square Maternal Fetal Medicine practice, while also providing direct support for nursing and advance practice providers. The position is structured to be 40% administrative and 60% clinical. As an administrator, the Clinical Manager will work collaboratively with staff and leadership team members to ensure compliance with regulatory, infection control, quality and safety standards while optimizing employee engagement, patient satisfaction, top of scope clinical practice and the highest quality of care delivery. As a direct care RN, the Clinical Manager will engage in complex care coordination including telephone triage, patient portal management, result review and follow-up, specialty program coordination, treatment planning, education, appointment scheduling, and administrative tasks associated with care coordination and management. The incumbent will be trained to support the antenatal testing unit which provides non-stress tests, biophysical profiles, and related diagnostic testing. A limited hybrid work schedule will be supported when operationally feasible.
