Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our team, working in the PK Processing Area of the Clinic. The role involves collaboration with floor technicians, such as phlebotomists, to collect, organize, and process PK Samples. The position is based in Las Vegas, NV, and involves working with healthy subjects for overnight stays in a clinical research environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience with plasma or serum samples and manual documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Collect and harvest plasma, serum, and other required laboratory specimens according to protocol specifications.
• Monitor the collection of urine and/or fecal specimens from study participants.
• Complete all required study documents and undergo training on specialized equipment as needed.
• Ensure that all procedures and processing areas are maintained in a neat, clean, and organized manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
• Technical positions may require a certificate.
• Previous laboratory experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job, comparable to one year.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a clinical research unit in a small lab just off the clinic floor. The clinic operates in shifts: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am, with current openings primarily for the 2nd and 3rd shifts. Occasionally, 12-hour shifts may be required. The environment is collaborative, working closely with coordinators to ensure the smooth flow of procedures. Dress code is professional and suitable for a laboratory setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Las Vegas, NV.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
