Position Overview
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist will perform a wide range of laboratory testing and procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely patient results.
Job Responsibilities
Perform moderate and high-complexity laboratory testing
Analyze, verify, and report laboratory results accurately
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation
Follow laboratory quality control and quality assurance procedures
Collect and process biological specimens as needed
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, CLIA, CAP, and regulatory standards
Troubleshoot equipment and testing inconsistencies
Maintain detailed and accurate laboratory documentation
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to support patient care
Adhere to infection control and laboratory safety protocols
Education & Certification Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field
Current CA CLS License
Current CA BLS Certification
Minimum of 1 year of recent Clinical Laboratory Scientist experience preferred
Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and regulatory standards
