K.A. Recruiting is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for a full-time, permanent opportunity in the breathtaking Eastern Sierra region of California near June Lake. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit hospital laboratory while enjoying year-round outdoor recreation including skiing, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, and boating.

Position Highlights

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high-complexity laboratory testing across all general laboratory departments

• Analyze, interpret, and verify laboratory results accurately and efficiently

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instrumentation

• Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures

• Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, and hospital policies

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care

• Participate in the laboratory's varied shift schedule and on-call rotation

Qualifications

• Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License required

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related scientific field

• Previous hospital laboratory experience preferred

• Generalist experience in chemistry, hematology, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis, and microbiology preferred

• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
