Job Summary Exempt: No Performs laboratory analysis on clinical specimens using established laboratory procedures; reviews and evaluates quality controls, specimen integrity and instrumentation to ensure that accurate results are reported. Standards of Behavior Line of Responsibility and Authority LINE OF AUTHORITY: Clinical Laboratory Scientist - Director of Laboratory Services Professionalism and Self-Development Education and Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BS or BA in Medical Technology related sciences required EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Two years experience in all aspects of the clinical laboratory LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Currently licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist by the State of California QUALIFICATIONS: Able to answer phones professionally. QUALIFICATIONS: Able to assist co-workers when needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Able to handle stressful work situations. QUALIFICATIONS: Able to organize and maintain good follow-up; able to multi-task. QUALIFICATIONS: Able to relate well with people using good communication and diplomatic skills. QUALIFICATIONS: Able to take on new responsibilities when requested. QUALIFICATIONS: Able to understand both oral and written instructions in English. QUALIFICATIONS: Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
