Hourly Pay Rate: $60

Shift: Night 4x10-Hour (21:30 - 07:30)

Duration: 13 weeks contract

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate- and high-complexity laboratory testing in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Analyze and verify test results with a high degree of accuracy.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical issues.
• Follow all CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and hospital regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with pathologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records.

Requirements

Experience Required: 2 years of experience, Trauma Level I & II required

Experience: BLOOD BANK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Experience: MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH BLOOD BANK SOFTWARE SPECIFICALLY CAN BE ANY SOFTWARE

Experience: MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN A LARGE HOSPITAL (300+ BEDS)

License Required: CA State license

Certs REQUIRED: ASCP-BB, BLS

Certs Preferred: Clin Immunohem Sci

Charting; EPIC required
