Clinical Lab Assistant, Per Diem, Education and Research, Morristown, NJ

• Receive and Process Specimens: Accurately label, register, and prepare specimens for testing.

• Support Lab Workflow: Perform daily tasks to ensure smooth and timely specimen handling.

• Assist in Training: Orient new Team Members by demonstrating standard procedures.

• Maintain Safety Standards: Follow PPE protocols and ensure a clean, hazard-free workspace.

• Monitor Equipment and Logs: Complete temperature checks, clean equipment, record data as assigned.

• Use Laboratory Systems: Enter orders, track specimens, retrieve information using lab software.

• Communicate with Team: Relay concerns, clarify orders, collaborate with Team Members and Clinicians.

• Follow Compliance Guidelines: Adhere to all SOPs and regulatory standards.

• Follows research protocols: Adhere to all research protocols and reads and has a thorough understanding of research laboratory manuals from sponsors.

• Maintain Supplies and Workspace: Restock materials, maintain organized workspace.
