Description

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Clinical Information Specialist - IV to join a global health care company in Florham Park, NJ. This is a 3-month contract to start with the potential for extensions. 

Pay:$87.00 - $97.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.


Description:
Position Overview The Clinical Liaison acts as a liaison for healthcare providers, supporting the clinical use of implantable contraception for trained clinicians with Nexplanon.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate, schedule, execute, and complete all administrative activities associated with Faculty Advancement Programs, including maintaining required documentation and ensuring timely completion of all mandated paperwork.
  • Provide advanced one-on-one Faculty Advancement training for healthcare providers participating as trainers in the Nexplanon Clinical Training Program.
  • Support trained clinicians in the clinical use of implantable contraception with Implanon/Nexplanon by demonstrating insertion and removal techniques using placebo models.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Implanon and Nexplanon Package Inserts and all relevant clinical training materials.
  • Manage program logistics, including faculty communications, scheduling, training materials, attendance records, and post-program follow-up activities.
  • Serve as a liaison between healthcare providers and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication while adhering to company policies and applicable FDA and local health authority requirements.
  • Ensure all Faculty Advancement Programs are conducted in compliance with company policies, Global Standards of Business Practice, and all applicable government and industry regulations.
  • Track program completion, maintain accurate records, and support reporting requirements related to Faculty Advancement activities.
  • Demonstrate a customer-focused approach in all interactions with healthcare providers, faculty members, and internal partners.



Education / Certificates:
  • Licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Physician Assistant (PA), or Physician (MD/DO)


Experience:
  • 5+ years of Women's health clinical practice with direct patient care responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience providing contraceptive counseling, prescribing, and/or managing contraceptive care.

Important Notes:
  • The role is expected to run through the end of the year, with a possible extension planned but not confirmed until later.
  • Work hours will be at least 25 hours per week and up to 40 hours, with the first couple of training weeks requiring a 40-hour-per-week commitment.
  • The schedule is variable and remote, requiring flexibility across U.S. time zones based on healthcare provider availability.
  • The ideal candidate must have women’s health and contraceptive care delivery experience, including experience with IUDs or Nexplanon; around five years of clinical experience was discussed.
  • Acceptable qualifications include licensed nurse practitioner, physician assistant, MD, or DO, though a nurse practitioner is considered the most likely fit.
  • The contractor must hold an active license appropriate to their clinical background.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include hosting Faculty Advancement Program trainings for healthcare providers, demonstrating Nexplanon insertion using models, ensuring compliance and FDA-required documentation, scheduling, paperwork, signatures, and filing in Veeva.
  • The role is healthcare-provider-facing but not patient-facing; training uses plastic arm models, not live patients.
  • There is a potential need to support adverse-event-related calls for Nexplanon insertion/removal if the role expands closer to 40 hours


Key skills required for the role:
  • Women’s health clinical experience
  • Contraceptive care delivery experience
  • Hands-on experience with IUD insertion and/or Nexplanon insertion
  • Active clinical license- Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, MD, or DO qualification
  • Approximately 5 years of clinical experience
  • Ability to train healthcare providers virtually
  • Strong knowledge of Nexplanon procedures and FDA/compliance requirements
  • Ability to demonstrate device insertion using training models
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Healthcare-provider-facing experience
  • Scheduling, follow-up, documentation, and administrative coordination skills
  • Experience handling required paperwork, signatures, and filing in Veeva
  • Flexibility to work across U.S. time zones
  • Ability to support adverse-event-related calls, if needed
