    Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Clinical Informatics Systems Manager to join the Information Services team!

    Description:

    The selected candidate will be responsible for the leadership, implementation, support, optimization, maintenance, and availability of the organization's clinical and business information systems. This position provides technical and operational oversight of assigned clinical applications, manages application-related projects and initiatives, supervises assigned Information Technology staff, and serves as a liaison between Information Technology, clinical departments, operational departments, physicians, and third-party vendors. The Clinical Informatics Systems Manager works to ensure information systems effectively support clinical workflows, business processes, patient care, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives.

    Requirements:

    • Associate degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Nursing Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field require; Bachelor's Degree preferred.An equivalent combination of relevant education, technical training, certifications, leadership experience, and progressively responsible healthcare Information Technology experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement
    • Demonstrated experience supporting, implementing, and managing healthcare information systems
    • Strong knowledge of healthcare clinical and operational workflows and the relationship between information systems, patient care, and business processes
    • Previous supervisory, team lead, or leadership experience preferred
    • Demonstrated project management, organizational, analytical, and communication skills required

    Hours:

    This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Other hours may be required for the effective operation of the department.
