Job Summary
SummaryReporting to the Systems Division Director, the CE Manager supervises a team of 20 full-time Engineers responsible for the implementation and program maintenance of networks, systems and applications managed by MGB Biomedical Engineering.Responsible for the overall direction and functioning of the clinical engineering program and its processes to ensure alignment with agency strategic goals. Also responsible for supervision of the clinical engineering program staff and technicians to ensure the highest quality services to the agency.Does this position require Patient Care? NoEssential FunctionsOversees and approves staff hiring, work allocation, training, performance management, including required documentation, as well as other supervisory functions.-Monitor, problem-solve and implement quality improvement initiatives that support program goals.-Monitor and evaluate new technologies in clinical settings.-Troubleshooting problems with equipment or processes to identify their causes and solutions.-Establishing and maintaining standards for operating equipment according to industry guidelines.-Oversee and coordinate equipment problem solving, repairs and replacement.Qualifications
