The Clinical Educator identifies and provides ongoing training, coaching, and education for all employees. The role is responsible for ensuring all employees are provided a robust education program throughout the course of employment that enables them to master and demonstrate the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties. Specifically ensuring that new employees are oriented to hospital policies and procedures, department managers orient and adequately train the employees in their respective departments, and all employees receive ongoing training and education that meets regulatory requirements.

Requirements
Education - Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Health related field preferred.
Experience – 5 years experience in a training or nurse management role in a health care setting required. Acute psychiatric care experience preferred. Healthstream experience.
Required Licenses - Valid Texas RN license in good standing required. BLS and Handle With Care certification required. Must be 21 years old or older. Must obtain and maintain BLS CPR certification as well as successful completion of Management of Assaultive Behavior training including restraint and seclusion policies prior to assuming patient care responsibility.
