We are seeking an experienced Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Manager to lead and support documentation integrity initiatives within a fast-paced acute care environment. This leadership role partners closely with physicians, nursing, HIM, coding, quality, and revenue cycle teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and complete clinical documentation that reflects the true severity of illness and quality of patient care.
Position Summary
The CDI Manager is responsible for identifying clinical documentation improvement opportunities related to ICD-10, UHDDS, CMS regulations, quality metrics, and reimbursement methodologies. This role provides operational oversight of concurrent query processes, drives documentation accuracy initiatives, analyzes trends, and develops strategies that improve clinical documentation integrity and organizational outcomes.
