Title: Clinical Director of Applied Behavior Analysis
Reports to: Director of Mental Health
Department: 603- ABA Program
Location: Office - ECF Headquarters – Culver City CA
FLSA Status: Exempt
Compensation: $97,000 - $105,000
Program Hours: Full timeMonday to Friday
Supervisory Responsibility: ABA Supervisor, Behavior Therapist- RBT, and Behavior Therapist- RBT Trainee.
Position Summary
The position includes clinical and administrative responsibilities. It involves managing all aspects of the ABA Program including but not limited to making clinical decisions, writing reports and behavior plans, administering assessments, training parents, supervising and training staff, scheduling, staffing, participating in disciplinary activities, managing the program budget and expenses, etc. It requires an active licensure as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral (BCBA-D).

Education/Licenses/Certifications: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, Educational Psychology, Child Development or related discipline and current active licensure as Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst- Doctoral (BCBA-D).
Experience: Three (3) years working in the field as BCBA, developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, and two (2) years’ experience as clinical director, managing and supervising RBTs and BCBA candidates.

Work is conducted in the office and in intervention rooms. The employee may work with individuals who are engaging in aggressive behaviors towards themselves and/or others. The employee will be exposed to frequent interruptions, loud noise, varying indoor and outdoortemperature, and drafts.

In 1946, a small group of parents in Los Angeles pooled their resources to create a daycare program for their children with developmental disabilities.
The Exceptional Children’s Foundation (ECF) has become a recognized innovator of services for young children, students, and adults with developmental, learning, and emotional disabilities; and ECF serves more than 3,500 young children, students, adults, and their families each year. ECF is the only organization of its kind in California, offering a full continuum of lifespan services for children and adults with developmental disabilities and other special needs.
Toddlers with complex diagnoses have developed language and social skills. Students in grades K-12 with learning, emotional, and behavioral challenges have learned how to study and learn and are now successfully attending two and four year colleges. Some of ECF’s adult clients live independently in their own apartments. Others hold jobs at local grocery stores, restaurants, and aerospace manufacturing plants. Many have produced artwork that graces the walls of business and national galleries.
