Telecare is seeking a Licensed Clinical Director to lead clinical services at our Pierce County Evaluation & Treatment Center (E&T) #250 in Lakewood, WA.

Pierce County E&T is an inpatient behavioral health program serving adults experiencing acute psychiatric needs who require a secure, structured environment for evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and recovery support.

This is a fully onsite leadership position requiring a strong and visible clinical presence within the program. The Clinical Director partners closely with the Administrator, nursing leadership, and multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality, recovery-focused care.

Expected starting salary range is $103,460.20 to $127,815.25. The full salary range extends to $152,170.29. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Social Work or a related behavioral health field

  • Active Washington State independent behavioral health license required

  • LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT

  • Candidates must be fully independently licensed; associate-level licenses do not meet the requirements for this position

  • Minimum 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in behavioral health

  • Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience

  • Experience in inpatient, acute, crisis, or intensive behavioral health settings

  • Experience supporting individuals with serious mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use needs

  • Strong understanding of clinical documentation, compliance, quality, and behavioral health standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and oversight to multidisciplinary team members

  • Establish and maintain strong clinical systems, standards, and best practices

  • Oversee clinical documentation, audits, treatment planning, and regulatory compliance

  • Partner with program leadership on quality improvement, risk mitigation, and clinical outcomes

  • Support staff development through clinical consultation, coaching, and training

  • Participate in incident reviews and continuous quality improvement initiatives

  • Build effective relationships with community partners, referral sources, and behavioral health stakeholders

  • Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented services

  • Participate in a structured Administrative On-Call rotation
