Clinical Director

Engagement: Independent consultant, 1099 hourly. Rate range: $150-300/hr based on experience and scope. Location: Remote with state focus (NC, SC, GA, TN, FL). Reports to: HR Advisory Division Lead, dotted line to Founder.

TWF is a workforce strategy and staffing firm. Year 2 of operations. Our HR Advisory practice serves behavioral health and mental health providers across the Southeast. We are building a senior clinical bench - operators who have led clinical functions at scale and want to put their expertise to work in a portfolio-career model that respects their time.

Who we want

Former Clinical Directors, Medical Directors, Chief Clinical Officers, VP Clinical Services, or Executive Directors at CMHCs, FQHCs, IDD agencies, hospital BH service lines, MSOs, or state BH authorities. You have led clinical organizations, owned clinical P&L, navigated CARF surveys, Medicaid SPA mechanics, CMS Conditions of Participation, and clinical workforce strategy. You have walked the line between clinical integrity and operational pressure.

What you would do

• Senior clinical advisory on TWF's most complex HR Advisory engagements
• Co-design workforce models for BH client systems facing turnover, burnout, supervision gaps
• Walk client systems through CARF prep, Medicaid SPA mechanics, supervision compliance
• Open senior clinical relationships that become enterprise TWF accounts (referral fees apply)
• Become the named clinical voice for one or more TWF client engagements
• Public-facing thought leadership under your name as desired

Engagement structure

$0 base. $150-300/hr when engaged. 10% referral fee on first-year revenue from sourced clients. Optional phantom equity grant (0.05-0.25%) for named senior seats. Public credit on firm advisor page with your consent. Long-term founding-team consideration possible for the right operator.

• Non-exclusive. Keep your other roles, board seats, practice.
• 30-day cancel from either party.
