We are seeking an Outpatient Registered Dietitian with a strong passion for pediatric nutrition and chronic disease management to join our Upstate Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Center. The ideal candidate is experienced in providing evidence-based medical nutrition therapy, monitoring growth and nutritional status, and delivering family-centered education as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
This role supports children and adolescents with complex conditionsparticularly cystic fibrosisthrough individualized nutrition interventions designed to optimize growth, pulmonary function, and overall well-being. The successful candidate will excel in collaborating with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and social workers to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care while empowering families with practical nutrition strategies that promote lifelong health.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree required. Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration required. NYS Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist license (or eligible) required. Three or more years of post RD certification experience in clinical dietetics. Specialty certification or advanced specialized membership required within 3 years of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master''s degree with preferred area of Nutrition or related field. Two (2) years or more of experience with Inpatient Critical Care or two (2) years or more of experience with Outpatient Counseling with experience in billing. Board certification as a Nutrition Support Clinician or other certifications in Pediatrics or Adult Nutrition: Board Certification as a Specialty in Pediatric Nutrition, Weight Management and Obesity, Oncology Nutrition, Renal Nutrition or board certification in Advanced Diabetes Management.
