JOB SUMMARY: Provides appropriate patient nutritional care. Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness. Provides nutrition education to patients/families. Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population. PRN only.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING• 1.* Registered Dietitian required (CMS requirement).• 2.* Current Texas licensure required.• 3.* One year healthcare experience desirable.
