The Dietitian Clinical is responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy as outlined in the approved clinical privileges; as professionally, accurately and as timely as possible per protocol. Utilizes the Nutrition Care Process to provide a variety of nutrition interventions to meet the nutritional needs of the patients. Screens patients to identify those at nutritional risk, those patients not receiving diet and those on modified diets. Completes nutrition assessment, implements nutrition therapy, monitors and evaluates progress as related to the patients' desired outcomes and provides documentation to support nutritional care.
Job Qualifications:
• High school graduate or GED equivalent required
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Food & Nutri or related area from an accredited school
• Currently registered with CDR or registry eligible
• Must maintain registration as RDN and certification by the CDR
• Licensed by the state of SC
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
