Position: Clinical Coordinator (RN)
Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Department: Hematology Cancer Clinic 
Shift: Full-Time | 8 hour shifts available/No Weekends, No Holidays

 Key Points:  This position will lead the Cellular Therapy and Apheresis clinical team to perform apheresis procedures, administer chemotherapy conditioning, perform outpatient autologous and allogeneic transplant and cellular therapy infusion, and provide post therapy care. Experience in apheresis, cellular therapy, and quality assurance preferred. 

 

Additional Job Functions: 

 

• Function as facilitator and mentor for clinical and support staff.
• Coordinate work shift activities in the clinical space.
• Assist leadership with continuous quality improvement and personnel utilization.
• Performance appraisals, resource usage and budget management.
• Provide care to clinic patients as needs arise.

What We’re Looking For:

 

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited Nursing program; B.S. in Nursing or related field, preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of one year experience as a clinical nurse in acute care environment, REQUIRED
•  Previous leadership experience, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current licensure as an RN, required. 
• Additional Skills (required): Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s)’ age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
