Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Clinical Coordinator for the IMPACT Program provides essential clinical and administrative support for a statewide prostate cancer treatment initiative. This role supports clinical operations, assists in supervising workflows, and ensures compliance with state contract requirements. The incumbent must be bilingual in English and Spanish, as a significant portion of the IMPACT Program's patient population is Spanish-speaking. The ability to effectively communicate in both languages is essential for coordinating care, providing patient and family education, conducting follow-up activities, and ensuring patients understand their treatment plans and available resources. Responsibilities include supporting clinical protocols, monitoring treatment utilization, coordinating care across a large provider network, and ensuring accurate documentation and quality patient support. The Clinical Coordinator assists with patient assessments, tracks patient progress, facilitates communication between providers, and supports staff training. The role also helps coordinate medical and social services, provides patient and family education, and ensures timely follow-up to maintain continuity of care. This position is critical to maintaining efficient operations and delivering high-quality care to vulnerable patients statewide.

Hourly salary range: 35.47 - 48.82

Required:

Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 5 years of related experience or training

Demonstrated ability to serve as a clinical translator, bilingual, Spanish. Working knowledge of good clinical practices.

Demonstrated ability to analyze information, process as information is received, reach logical conclusions and formulate plan of action within a single conversation.

Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy.

Ability to organize multiple projects for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Ability to work and solve problems with minimal supervision.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.

Ability to work flexible hours.

Ability to concentrate and focus on tasks in a work environment that contains distracting stimuli.

Demonstrated computer skills/ability including word processing, database management, email, and Internet research tools.

Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population
