Clinical Coordinator- OTA (Academic Fieldwork Coordinator)

The Clinical Coordinator position plans, coordinates, facilitates, administers, and monitors, activities on behalf of the academic program and in coordination with academic and clinical faculty. Clinical Coordinators accomplish this through: Assists with the development and assessment of the clinical education component of the curriculum with the Program Director.

The Clinical Coordinator position plans, coordinates, facilitates, administers, and monitors, activities on behalf of the academic program and in coordination with academic and clinical faculty. These activities ensure the quality of our students learning experience during clinical education. Clinical Coordinators accomplish this through: Assists with the development and assessment of the clinical education component of the curriculum with the Program Director.Coordination and implementation of the clinical education component of the curriculum including site placements, site visits, and evaluation.Responsible for facilitating students' clinical education.Responsible for ensuring clinical education program compliance. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:Minimum of a bachelor's degreeMasters Degree preferredAt least 2 years of clinical practice experience as an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant (ACOTE Standards).Current, unrestricted Florida licensed occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant.
