    Job Summary and Qualifications

    • In addition to Lead Respiratory Therapist responsibilities, the Clinical Coordinator will provide assistance with clinical education and leadership initiatives to the RT staff, as well as assistance with day to day departmental operations.
    • Job may include direct supervision of students at the discretion of the Director of Respiratory Therapy.
    • Direct supervision means the Clinical Coordinator is readily available to the student throughout the shift.
    • At Frankfort Regional Medical Center, the Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining CAP accreditation, maintaining respiratory equipment, and rotating on call shift responsibilities with Lead Therapists.
    • Assists with in-services and staff education, daily evaluation of patient charts for regulatory compliance audits, staff evaluations and primary preceptor for new employees.
    • Assists with development and implementation of new policies and procedures. Completes and maintains the monthly staff schedule.
    • Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively meet the needs of the patient.

      What qualifications you will need:

      • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
      • (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner
      • Bachelors Degree
      • (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist, or (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist
