Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Regional Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing, the Clinical Competency Coordinator supports the delivery of high-quality patient care by overseeing clinical competencies and assisting with clinic operations. This role serves as a liaison between nursing leadership and clinic staff, helping to plan, implement, and maintain clinical training and competency standards across the organization. The Coordinator maintains expertise in clinical procedures, terminology, and surgical instruments while providing direct patient care and performing technical laboratory tasks in accordance with organizational policies. This position aligns with Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Meaningful Use (MU) guidelines, utilizing evidence-based practices and certified EHR systems to support patient care and population health management.
