    Emerge Pediatric Therapy is a leader in Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapy. We are a woman owned, small business who has been serving the Triangle Area for over 20 years.

    Emerge Pediatric Therapy provides therapeutic services to support the children and their families in our community. We empower caregivers to help their children develop into confident children. We also support our therapists. We want to see our therapists grow in their careers.


    Where are we going?

    We have grown our practice to better serve more of the Triangle and surrounding areas. Since 2020, we have opened two additional locations to now include, Cary, Carrboro/Chapel Hill and Durham. Emerge Pediatric Therapy is a growth-driven practice.     Clinic Support Coordinator 


    Emerge Pediatric Therapy is looking for a Clinical Support Coordinator to add to their growing Durham team! This position supports both the clinical team and front desk operations to ensure the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently, allowing therapists to focus on providing direct, face-to-face care. The role involves assisting therapy team members as needed, welcoming and checking in clients, answering phone calls and messages, supporting families, managing and prioritizing daily tasks, and helping maintain an organized, clean, and well-scheduled clinic environment. This position requires strong organizational and task management skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, and a genuine enjoyment of working with children and families.


    Schedule Options

    Part Time

    Monday through Thursday: 1:00pm to 6:15pm

    Friday: 7:45am to 3:00pm


    Full Time

    Monday through Thursday: 9:00am to 6:15pm

    Friday: 7:30am to 3:15pm

    Responsibilities


    Front Desk and Family Support

    • Open and close the clinic as scheduled
    • Greet families, complete client check in, and assist clients as needed
    • Answer phone calls, monitor emails, and route messages to the right team members while following HIPAA protocols
    • Manage scheduling needs, including rescheduling appointments when necessary

    Therapy Team Support

    • Help therapists with session preparation, materials, filing, and in session support when requested
    • Prepare rooms, gyms, and materials for individual and group therapy sessions
    • Assist with food preparation and clean up for feeding therapy sessions

    Clinic Operations

    • Keep the clinic organized, clean, and safe, including resetting therapy spaces after sessions
    • Sanitize therapy tools, toys, equipment, and surfaces throughout the day according to clinic standards
    • Stock treatment rooms and common areas, and organize toys, equipment, kitchen, and storage spaces
    • Track inventory and expiration dates to make sure supplies are always ready
    • Complete approved purchasing, including weekly shopping and submitting group shopping lists
    • Handle daily upkeep such as dishwashing, laundry, vacuuming, sweeping, trash removal, and refilling paper products, soap, and sanitizer
    • Complete monthly safety checks of clinic equipment and report any concerns
