Clinical Assistant Professor - Student Outpatient Therapist

Job Summary: The Psychologist will provide clinical interventions and outreach and preventative programming to students of Upstate Medical University. Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Psy. D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program. NYS license as psychologist (or license-eligible within 12 months of hire) is required. Two or more years experience providing individual outpatient therapy to adults.
Preferred Qualifications:
As above, plus: Five or more years post-doctoral experience providing individual outpatient therapy to undergraduate or graduate students. Experience with short-term/evidence-based models of therapy. Experience providing clinical supervision to unlicensed providers/trainees. Clinical expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and specialist training.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in and enthusiasm for working with students; an interest in working with students from diverse and marginalized backgrounds; cultural competency in all aspects of clinical care; and excellent communication skills.
