    Job Summary/Basic Functions

    The LSU Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans, Department of Medicine, Section of Hospital Medicine is seeking an ABIM board certified/eligible (or equivalent) physician in Internal Medicine for a faculty position, at the academic rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine (non-tenure, clinical track, 75% effort). The incumbent will provide clinical hospitalist service at University Medical Center-New Orleans on the LSUHSC non-teaching/direct care inpatient service. Rank commensurate with experience.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Required Education: MD or equivalent

    Other Education if applicable: completion of an Internal Medicine Residency (or equivalent)

    Required Field of Study: Internal Medicine

    Certifications or Licenses Required: ABIM board certified/eligible (or equivalent); Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Louisiana and credentialed with all required entities before hire
