    Description

    The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Internal Medicine is recruiting Academic Hospitalists to join the Division of Hospital Medicine at the rank of Assistant Professor.

    This is a full-time position featuring a hybrid schedule of 50%-day shifts and 50%-night shifts, providing a unique opportunity to engage in diverse clinical experiences at one of the nations leading academic institutions. Our hospitalists provide direct patient care while playing a critical role in teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians, including residents and medical students.

    Qualifications:

    • MD or DO degree, or foreign equivalent, from an accredited institution
    • Board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Internal Medicine
    • Unrestricted Texas medical licensure
    • Commitment to participation in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and other scholarly activities
