Clinical Assistant- General Surgery Clinic

Key responsibilities: Under the direction of the RN, the Clinical Assistant performs duties of direct and indirect patient care. Experience: 1 year Clinical Assistant experience in an outpatient pediatric setting highly preferred.

Position summary:
This position will support the General Surgery Clinic. 

Key responsibilities:

• Under the direction of the RN, the Clinical Assistant performs duties of direct and indirect patient care.  
• Supporting the RN with clinical tasks, including
• Obtaining and recording vital signs and growth parameters and clerical duties. 
• Assisting RN in completing prior authorization forms
• Answering prescription refill line
• Room set up, stock inventory for supplies and equipment
• Rotation between Boston and Waltham.

 
Minimum qualifications:
Education:

• HS Diploma or GED required.

• CNA certification preferred.

Experience:

• 1 year Clinical Assistant experience in an outpatient pediatric setting highly preferred.
