Make an Impact in Heart Failure Care

TSP is engaged in a direct hire search with a global leading medical technology organization dedicated to advancing innovative solutions that help healthcare providers diagnose, monitor, and manage heart failure. We are seeking a Clinical Account Representative (CAR) to support the growth and adoption of an innovative remote monitoring solution used in the management of heart failure patients. This field-based role combines clinical expertise, account management, customer education, and commercial execution to help healthcare providers optimize patient care and improve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for established, high-volume accounts, ensuring successful patient onboarding and monitoring workflows.
  • Achieve assigned sales and utilization goals within designated accounts.
  • Develop and execute quarterly business plans focused on account growth and utilization.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to evaluate performance, identify barriers, and uncover opportunities for expansion.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and educational presentations to healthcare professionals.
  • Gather and communicate competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and market insights.
  • Provide account coverage and support for team members as needed.

Account Management

  • Build strong relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, heart failure clinics, and healthcare administrators.
  • Partner with the field team to conduct business reviews focused on program performance, patient volume trends, and operational effectiveness.
  • Support workflow enhancements that improve patient identification, enrollment, and monitoring processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, clinical specialists, professional education, and leadership.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records.

Clinical & Technical Support

  • Provide technical troubleshooting and workflow support, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Support clinical procedures and case coverage when needed across priority accounts.
  • Deliver training and education for clinical staff, heart failure programs, and administrative teams.
  • Contribute to product in-services and support clinical data collection initiatives.
  • Maintain and expand expertise in heart failure management, remote patient monitoring, and related technologies.

Compliance

  • Adhere to all regulatory, quality, compliance, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sales activities, account plans, expenses, and customer interactions.
  • Foster professional and compliant communications with both external customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2–4 years of experience in medical device or healthcare sales with experience interacting directly with healthcare providers, clinic leaders, or hospital administrators.
  • Proven consultative selling skills with the ability to identify customer needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding performance goals, with achievement of ≥100% to goal in the most recent performance year.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Preferred

  • Experience in cardiology, heart failure, electrophysiology, structural heart, cardiac devices, or remote patient monitoring.
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and payment pathways.
  • Familiarity with Cath Lab, procedural, or operating room environments.
  • Basic clinical case support or procedural support experience.

The annual base salary for this position is $75,000 to $95,000. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
