Get to Know Your Team: 

  • Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
Responsibilities:
  • The Clinical Access Administrator is primarily responsible for conducting the on boarding of all medical staff providers within the Hillcrest system.
  • Provision all providers, residents, and students to ensure all access requirements are met prior to onboarding date.
  • The Clinical Access Administrator uses computers and related systems to design workflows that support effective provider on boarding and access to clinical systems with the goal of improving business efficiency and productivity.
  • This position also provides technical input and recommendations in assessing IT software projects and initiatives to enhance existing systems.
  • The Clinical Access Coordinator manages the receipt and flow of data received from outside entities and imports to the assigned systems.
  • Assist with all other duties assigned.
Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • One to two years of on-the-job experience in a healthcare setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associates Degree.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • IT experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and skills in the performance of all types of credentialing activities consistent with HHS Credentialing Policies and Procedures.
  • Skilled professional communicator, including electronic and telephone communication.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritizes projects, and manages time efficiently and effectively.
  • Working knowledge of the MS Bylaws, Rules, and Procedures for appointment manuals.
  • Knowledge of JCAHO/HSFA/DNV other regulatory standards.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in medical staff software system.
  • Knowledge and use of One Note.
  • Knowledge and use of Excel.
  • Knowledge of IT services.
