    About the Role

    • We are looking for a Clinic Lead to work with our professional sports team physicians in our San Francisco office. This is a rare opportunity to take your career to the next level by working closely with our physicians to help treat professional Bay Area athletes and lead a dedicated clinic team. We are looking for candidates with solid clinical experience and a passion for excellence in patient care.

    What You'll Do

    • Developing and managing the schedule of all Clinic staff, including managing days off schedules
    • Overseeing the performance and workload of clinic staff
    • Communicating disciplinary problems to the manager
    • Working as a float to support Clinic staff and Physician schedules when needed
    • Scheduling patients, maintaining inventory, processing orders, explaining insurance benefits, and calling patients to follow up
    • Fitting patients with braces, boots, other DME as ordered and directed by physician
    • Assessing patients general condition and collecting a focused patient history when working as a Physician Extender
    • Collaborating with physicians to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs
    • Providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions to patient
    • Casting and splinting application and removing as appropriate
    • Additional duties as assigned

    What We're Looking For:


    License/Certification:

    • Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Athletic Trainer

    Qualifications:

    • Cooperative work attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians
    • Ability to promote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, hospitals, other physician offices, and public
    • Ability to make decisions and solve problems
    • Ability to triage patient care questions related to post-op, post-injury, infection, complications, etc.
    • Work effectively as team member with physicians and other staff
    • Appropriately interact with patients, families, and others
    • Ability to flexibly respond to changing demands

    Experience:

    • 2 years of clinic experience
    • EMR/EHR experience a plus
