About the Role
We are looking for a Clinic Lead to work with our professional sports team physicians in our San Francisco office. This is a rare opportunity to take your career to the next level by working closely with our physicians to help treat professional Bay Area athletes and lead a dedicated clinic team. We are looking for candidates with solid clinical experience and a passion for excellence in patient care.
What You'll Do
Developing and managing the schedule of all Clinic staff, including managing days off schedules
Overseeing the performance and workload of clinic staff
Communicating disciplinary problems to the manager
Working as a float to support Clinic staff and Physician schedules when needed
Scheduling patients, maintaining inventory, processing orders, explaining insurance benefits, and calling patients to follow up
Fitting patients with braces, boots, other DME as ordered and directed by physician
Assessing patients general condition and collecting a focused patient history when working as a Physician Extender
Collaborating with physicians to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs
Providing patient education materials, communicating physician advice/instructions to patient
Casting and splinting application and removing as appropriate
Additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For:
License/Certification:
Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Athletic Trainer
Qualifications:
Cooperative work attitude toward co-employees, management, patients, visitors, and physicians
Ability to promote favorable facility image with physicians, patients, hospitals, other physician offices, and public
Ability to make decisions and solve problems
Ability to triage patient care questions related to post-op, post-injury, infection, complications, etc.
Work effectively as team member with physicians and other staff
Appropriately interact with patients, families, and others
Ability to flexibly respond to changing demands
Experience:
2 years of clinic experience
EMR/EHR experience a plus
