Title: Clinic Registered Nurse - Full Time
Department: UMC Neurosurgery
We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) with a desire to be part of our Neurosurgery clinical team. The RN provides practical care to patients and provides guidance to CMAs. The RN is expected to work in compliance and in accordance with clinical and nursing standards. In addition to the skills required of all Registered Nurses, special skills related to nursing in the clinic environment are required.

Environmental Conditions:
Works in well-lit, ventilated building. Hours may vary to accommodate needs in the department. Exposure of blood borne pathogens is of high risk.
Physical Requirements:
Work is of medium demand. Standing and walking most of the time while on duty. Lifting and pushing patients, carts and wheelchairs. Adequate hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills required. Good tactile sensation necessary for checking patients. Talking and hearing is essential in instructing and supervising nursing personnel and receiving doctors' orders and patient's condition reports. Near visual acuity for accurate recording of patients' charts.
