Lakeside Pediatrics is seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated pediatric care team.
The Clinic RN will be responsible for telephone triage, responding to patient messages through MyChart, processing clinical paperwork, completing prior authorizations, and providing both in-person and telephonic patient and family education. In addition, this RN will support clinic flow by filling in as a medical assistant when needed, ensuring seamless care for our patients.
Our clinic includes five physicians and two Behavioral Health Clinicians. While we are a smaller practice, we are consistently busy and operate in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, proactive, and able to think on their feet while delivering high-quality pediatric care and excellent patient experience.
Work Schedule: 32 hours per week
Mondays - 9am-3pm
Tuesdays - 7am -5:30pm
Wednesdays - 7am - 5:30pm
Thursday 9-3pm
Fridays - OFF
Job Summary
The main responsibilities are a combination of telephone triage, patient messaging via MyChart, processing paperwork, completing prior authorizations, providing in-person and telephonic patient education, and filling the role of the medical assistant to support the clinic as needed.
The RN role practices within the Code of Ethics and Standards of Nursing Practice. Performs triage via phone and patient messaging in the electronic health record. Delegates patient care responsibilities appropriately, and maintains accountability for the quality of care. Provides for the health education needs of families with a focus on self-management and preventive health.
