Clinic Medical Assistant (RN, LPN, CMA/RMA) - Nephrology Associates

Job Overview:

Working alongside nephrologists, you'll provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients with a variety of needs. From assisting with outpatient appointments and coordinating care to educating patients on kidney-healthy lifestyles and treatment plans, you'll help support patients at every stage of their healthcare journey. 

The Clinical Office Assistant is responsible for providing direct or indirect care, under the supervision of a physician and based on their scope of training, to patients who present with urgent, emergent, or potential health problems, as well as preventive care. Services include, but are not limited to, general patient care, documentation of activities, and patient/family education. Care is provided utilizing established principles and ethical standards, as well as policies and procedures established by Deaconess.

What You Will Need

• Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or graduation from an accredited nursing program required.

• Experience preferred but not required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Current certification/license from one of the below:

• Certified Medical Assistant- American Association of Medical Assistants 

• Registered Medical Assistant- American Medical Technologist

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant- National Health career Association

• National Certified Medical Assistant- National Center for Competency Testing

• Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant- National Association for Health Professionals

• Registered Medical Assistant- American Allied Health

• Certified Medical Assistant Clinical- American Medical Certification Association

CPR provider certification required.

Location:Mary St Physician Center - 520 Mary Street, Evansville, IN 47710

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, no holidays or weekends

Hours: 40 per week

Pay Scales:
CMA/RMA: $19.14 to $26.79
Clinic LPN: $22.32 to $31.25
Clinic RN: $26.04 to $36.45
