POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Chief Clinical Operations Officer, the Clinic Director II will provide mission-focused, strategic and process-minded leadership and oversite of all nonclinical functions of the clinic. As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Clinic Director II will have direct involvement with organizational strategy development and implementation; and be primarily responsible for providing administrative oversight of the day-to-day operations of the facility.

REQUIREMENTS:
Training and Experience:
Master's Degree and two years' experience in operational management in a clinic or hospital; or a Bachelor's Degree and five years' experience in operational management in a clinic or hospital; or an Associate's Degree and 10 years' experience in operational management in a clinic or hospital.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or Ryan White CARE Act clinic experience a plus. Previous supervisory experience required. Passion for working with underserved communities and people living with HIV/AIDS required.
Knowledge of:
Clinic operations, patient billing, budgeting and financial reporting, government and private grant management, public health issues and concerns required.
Ability to:
Effectively supervise and motivate assigned staff and volunteers; manage multiple aspects of varied clinical and support programs; monitor and evaluate clinic and support activities; communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals and organizations.
Work in a dynamic, rapidly changing and fast-growing environment. Write grant proposals and/or assist with writing grant proposals. Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This is primarily an office position that requires only occasional bending, reaching, stooping, lifting and moving of office materials weighing 25 pounds or less. The position requires daily use of a personal computer and requires entering, viewing, and revising text and graphics on the computer terminal and on paper.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid California driver's license; proof of auto liability insurance; and have the use of a personal vehicle for work related purposes. COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster or Medical/ Religious Exemption required.
