Shift Details:Dental Hygienist Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization.
Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress.
Update patient health history and chart treatment progress.
Expose and develop radiographs (if certified).
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments.
Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems.
Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current, valid, and unrestricted NH license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
Must be Certified Dental Assistant.
Required Education: High school diploma or GED
Preferred Education: -Associates degree or certification in Dental Assisting (preferred but not required)
Required Certifications & Licensure: -X-ray training or certification.
BLS certification.
Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience to be considered.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort.
Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents.
