    Lead a Growing Surgical Practice

    Novant Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Administrator II to lead operations for our busy and growing Surgical Partners practice in Asheville, North Carolina.

    This role is ideal for a servant leader who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and enjoys balancing strategic practice management with hands-on support. The Clinical Supervisor II will oversee daily operations, financial performance, staff development, patient experience, and provider support while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered culture.

    What You'll Do

    Key Responsibilities

    • Direct and oversee all day-to-day operations of a multi-provider surgical practice.
    • Manage clinic workflows to optimize patient access, efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction.
    • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop clinical and administrative staff.
    • Drive employee engagement, accountability, and professional growth.
    • Monitor and manage departmental budgets, productivity, revenue cycle performance, and financial outcomes.
    • Ensure compliance with Novant Health policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
    • Collaborate with physicians, providers, and organizational leadership to achieve operational goals.
    • Analyze operational, financial, and quality data to identify trends and implement improvements.
    • Support recruitment, onboarding, staffing plans, and succession planning efforts.
    • Promote a culture of teamwork, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide hands-on support to clinic operations as needed, including front office, patient flow, and clinical support functions.

    What We're Looking For

    • Education: Must meet one of the following: Four year Bachelor's degree; or Associate's degree with four years of relevant professional experience; or eight years of relevant professional experience, required.

    • Experience: Three years of leadership experience, required. One-plus years of practice manager experience, preferred,

    • Additional skills required: Knowledge of health care administration and clinic philosophy and policies and operating procedures. Knowledge of fiscal management systems and techniques. Knowledge of human resource management practices including supervision and staff development. Knowledge of governmental regulations and reimbursement requirements. Knowledge of computer systems and applications. Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem-solving, decision making. Demonstrates strong leadership skills and develops and maintains skill in organizing work to achieve clinic goals and objectives. Ability to analyze and interpret complex data. Ability to research and prepare comprehensive reports. Ability to monitor quality control standards. Ability to communicate clearly.
