Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Client Support Technician to provide comprehensive onsite and remote end-user technical support. The technician will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, account, and connectivity issues while delivering responsive and professional customer service.

The role will support desktop computers, laptops, printers, monitors, mobile devices, and related IT systems. Responsibilities also include workstation setup, user onboarding and offboarding, ticket management, hardware and software inventory, and escalation of complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities / Daily Duties
  • Provide onsite and remote technical support to end users.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain desktop PCs, laptops, printers, monitors, and mobile devices.

  • Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Respond to help desk requests through phone, chat, and in-person channels.

  • Log, track, prioritize, and resolve incidents and service requests using ticketing systems.

  • Set up and configure new workstations and user devices.

  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities.

  • Create user accounts and configure appropriate permissions.

  • Maintain accurate hardware, software license, and IT supply inventory records.

  • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues.

  • Escalate complex technical, system, or network-wide problems to senior system or network administrators.

  • Provide clear communication and status updates to users regarding support requests.

  • Deliver a high level of customer service while resolving technical issues.

  • Follow established IT support and security procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 8 years of relevant IT support or service desk experience.

  • High school diploma, vocational training, or an Associate s/Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Hands-on knowledge of Windows 10/11.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365.

  • Knowledge of Azure and/or Active Directory.

  • Understanding of basic networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.

  • Familiarity with endpoint security tools.

  • Experience supporting desktop computers, notebooks, printers, and wireless devices.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong customer-service mindset, patience, and professionalism.

Preferred Skills
  • CompTIA A+ certification

  • CompTIA Network+ certification

  • Microsoft technical certifications/credentials.

  • Experience with PowerShell.

  • Additional experience with Azure/Active Directory administration.
