Average total compensation with commission is between $60k-$80k a year.
The Client Support and Development Specialist's function is to make sure that our current Customers and Prospects are made aware of the new Elevator services and product offerings, as well as ensuring that these prospects are made aware of the benefits of all the various services offered by Hytec. The Client Support and Development Specialist will also provide support to customers to ensure that Hytec's overall commitment to quality and reliable service is being maintained.
Duties
Responsible for the sales growth within assigned region and accounts through current customers and prospective clients
Complete calls and meetings with prospective customers and to do so in a timely and orderly manner, to provide a proper sales approach to the prospect, resulting in the acquisition of their service or product business
Complete 10 sales calls daily, resulting and 1 New Customer Presentation daily. Calls include prospecting, slow accounts, lost accounts, new register and follow-up, etc.
Must attend and prepare inside weekly sales meetings with management team to account for all activities.
Following up on quotes given with a phone call and email.
Monthly review of sales reports provided on customers within region.
Daily review of the no stock and failed part search report for quick customer follow-ups.
Based on sales reports plan sales strategy for each customer within region and complete the strategy to increase business levels with Hytec
Represent Hytec in a professional manner during presentations, in-house meetings with customers during trade shows and other approved Elevator Association meetings
Log for all meetings, calls and correspondence in the company CRM
Prepare all quotes and proposals for Prospects within 30 – minutes of a request to gain their business
Provide adequate communication to it's counterpart through email, assigning follow up actions through the company CRM to allow for the best care to be provided to customers
Always maintaining customer retention rates while keeping a log of lost customers to allow for a weekly follow up action plan to maintain all customers
Maintain customers informed of the different monthly/quarterly promotions
Send mailers to customers with personal written letters to continue to gain business or to gain business
Identify missed areas of opportunities and make customers aware of the different types of products and services that Hytec offers
Overcome customer objections to gain their business – working with Sale Management to develop a strategy and script to help overcome objections.
Building good rapport with customers
Works to provide answers to daily questions from customers
Ensure we have the most updated information on file for customer sales process
Remain advised of competition activity and industry events
Work along with the Vertical Transportation Salespersons Management team on training and improvement of sales and presentation skills, including closing techniques and general sales responsibilities.
Travel Requirements / Special Duties
Travel requirements will be based on various requirements of the customers within assigned region. The Specialist will travel to customer and prospects sites when approved by the Sales Manager. The Client Support and Development Specialist will also from time to time be required to attend trade shows and Elevator industry events.
Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma. Preferably some college or other formal education experience.
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience preferably in a B2B setting.
Must be customer-focused and ensure Hytec's customers' interests are always kept first, while keeping in mind the larger overall picture to create a win-win relationship with customers.
Must have very good written and excellent verbal communication skills internally and externally.
Must have good organizational skills
Must have a can't lose Sales and CSR mentality, always striving to improve while closing a high percentage of all sales opportunities.
Must take initiative and be self-motivated and self-reliant to maintain and increase revenue in the assigned region.
Must be dependable and able to make good choices in representing Hytec to customers and potential customers.
Must be able to make competent decisions regarding travel planning and expenses.
Must be professional in appearance and communication
Must be able to work in the office 4 days a week with 1 day at home.
Must attend weekly sales meetings to account for all activities.
