Client Solutions Engineer - Data Centers

The Client Solutions Engineer - Data Centers will serve as a key technical resource within a growing development platform, partnering closely with business development and delivery teams to support strategic customer opportunities. Reporting into senior leadership within the data center platform, the Client Solutions Engineer will play a critical role in shaping solutions and driving project success.

Lead technical presentations, customer meetings, and site tours for enterprise and hyperscale data center clients.

Translate customer power, cooling, and capacity requirements into engineered and commercially viable solutions.

Manage Requests for Information, Requests for Proposal, and Requests for Quotation responses from initial scoping through final submission.

Act as the subject matter expert for data center infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, cooling, and mission-critical systems.

Partner with design, construction, operations, and commercial teams to ensure proposed solutions remain accurate throughout project delivery.

Support forecasting, account planning, and opportunity reviews for strategic customers.

Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and technical forums while monitoring market trends and emerging technologies.

For the Client Solutions Engineer - Data Centers we are seeking:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum of 5 years of data center, colocation, or mission-critical infrastructure experience.

Experience within a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or similar customer-facing technical role.

Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, power infrastructure, cooling systems, networking, controls, or related mission-critical technologies.

Demonstrated ability to convert customer requirements into practical technical solutions and project scopes.

Experience working across engineering, construction, operations, and commercial functions.

Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical stakeholders and executive leadership teams.

Experience preparing and managing Requests for Information, Requests for Proposal, and Requests for Quotation responses.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Adobe Acrobat.

Highly organized professional capable of managing multiple concurrent opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
