Ellsworth Rd., Ann Arbor UNION AFFILIATION:AFSCME 2733 Unit A JOB SUMMARY Under the supervision of a qualified professional, the Client Service Manager (CSM) position provides services to children, youth, and their family. The youth may have a diagnosis of a severe emotional disturbance, autism spectrum disorder and/or a developmental disability. Trauma informed; strengths-based approaches are utilized for safety planning, advocacy, referrals, and parenting support. Under the direction of a supervisor, the CSM is responsible for updating assessments, developing goals, and linking children + families to resources and services that improve, maintain, or restore an enhanced quality of life. Working within the team context assures that the Family Centered Process results in an integrated plan of service and facilitates the achievement of specific outcomes. In their role, the staff person is responsible for developing and maintaining the Family Centered Plan (FCP), coordinating and monitoring youth/family services, and directly assisting youth and families in achieving desired outcomes and documenting consumer progress according to WCCMH documentation standards.
