Description

VCA Lynnfield by the Lake Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated Client Service Supervisor to join our hospital's leadership team.

About the Role:

As a Client Service Supervisor, you will be a central pillar of our hospital's operations. Reporting to the Hospital Manager, you will lead our client service team and oversee a wide range of administrative and operational duties. Your primary focus is to ensure the delivery of outstanding service to our clients and their beloved pets, while supporting a positive and efficient team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Staff Management: Lead the front office team by example. This includes hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting performance reviews to build a highly effective and motivated team.
  • Exceptional Client Experience: Champion VCA's high standards of client service. You will manage client flow, address client concerns, and ensure a professional and compassionate experience for every visitor.
  • Hospital Operations: Drive the day-to-day administrative functions of the hospital. This includes overseeing billing, managing financial records, maintaining office systems, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Collaboration & Growth: Work closely with the Hospital Manager and medical team to identify opportunities for improvement, support marketing initiatives, and contribute to the overall success and growth of the practice.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in the veterinary field is required.
  • A positive attitude and a friendly demeanor towards both animals and people.
  • Excellent knowledge of client service best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with computer systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days and weekends, based on business needs.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
