Do you believe the little things matter?
So do we.
At VCA Parkcrest Animal Hospital, we believe a warm smile, remembering a client's name, celebrating a puppy's first visit, sitting with someone during a difficult goodbye, or walking a bag of pet food to a client's car can leave just as much of an impact as the medicine we practice.
We call it unreasonable hospitality, and it's at the heart of everything we do. Great medicine brings clients through our doors. Unreasonable hospitality is what keeps them coming back.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate Client Service Representative to join our team! If you love helping people, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and aren't afraid to greet a puppy or comfort a nervous pet parent, we'd love to meet you.
Our CSRs are much more than receptionists. They're relationship builders, problem solvers, educators, and often the reassuring voice or friendly face our clients need most. They set the tone for every visit and help create an experience that keeps clients coming back year after year.
About Us
VCA Parkcrest Animal Hospital has been caring for pets in Springfield and the surrounding Ozarks since the late 1960s. We're a busy, AAHA-accredited, five-doctor small animal hospital offering wellness care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, boarding, and grooming.
While we're proud of our medicine and technology, our greatest strength is our team. We believe in building lasting relationships with our clients, supporting one another, and treating every pet like they're our own. We work hard, laugh often, and genuinely enjoy what we do.
What You'll Do
As a Client Service Representative, you'll be the first impression of our hospital and play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for pets and their people.
Your day may include:
Greeting clients and patients with warmth and enthusiasm
Answering phones, texts, and emails
Scheduling appointments and supporting patient flow
Checking clients in & out and processing payments
Explaining services, wellness plans, and treatment plans
Maintaining accurate medical records
Educating clients on preventive care and hospital resources
Supporting your teammates and helping the hospital run smoothly
We're Looking For Someone Who...
Loves people and animals
Enjoys building relationships and making a difference in someone's day
Communicates clearly and compassionately
Stays organized and positive in a busy environment
Takes pride in providing exceptional service
Is dependable, team-oriented, and willing to jump in when needed
Has previous customer service experience (veterinary experience is a plus, but not required)
Schedule
Full-time, 30-40 hours per week. Most weeks you'll work four shifts. We believe in taking care of our team, so you may occasionally help cover for teammates while they enjoy a well-earned vacation or take time away when they need it.
Rotating 4-hour Saturday shifts
Why You'll Love Working Here
We're committed to taking care of our team just like we take care of our patients.
We offer:
Competitive pay, starting at $15/hour
