Client Service Representative (CSR)
Quarry Ridge Animal Hospital – Ridgefield, CT
Starting at $20/hour
Being the first face (and voice) people encounter matters. A lot. In veterinary medicine, it’s not just about answering phones or checking clients in—it’s about setting the tone for the entire visit, whether it’s a routine checkup or a really tough day.
At Quarry Ridge Animal Hospital, we’ve been caring for Ridgefield’s pets since 1992, and we take that responsibility seriously. We’re proud to be the only AAHA-accredited hospital in town, and we hold ourselves to a high standard—not just in medicine, but in how we show up for our clients and each other. Many of our team members have been here 10+ years, which says more than any job ad ever could.
We’re looking for a CSR who can keep things moving in a busy environment, communicate clearly and kindly, and genuinely enjoys getting to know both pets and their people.
What your day might look like
You’re the calm in the chaos at the front desk—welcoming clients, answering questions, and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll juggle phones, scheduling, and client communication while keeping everything organized and on track. There’s a rhythm to it, and once you find it, the day flies.
You’ll help guide pet owners through visits, clarify treatment plans and invoices, and make sure they feel heard and supported. You’ll also keep the front area tidy and comfortable, because those little details matter more than people realize.
What tends to work well here
You’ve spent some time in a veterinary or medical setting (about 1–3 years is great), and you’re comfortable with the usual front desk tools—phones, payment systems, scheduling software. You don’t need to know everything, but you’re curious and like learning as you go.
You’re someone who can multitask without getting flustered, think on your feet, and communicate in a way that feels natural and reassuring. Empathy comes easily to you, but so does staying organized and focused when things get busy.
Most importantly, you like being part of a team that supports each other and takes pride in doing things well.
Benefits (full-time)
Quarry Ridge moved into a purpose-built, 5,500 sq ft facility in 2001, and we’ve continued to grow from there—without losing what makes this place feel steady and grounded. It’s a team that shows up for each other, takes the work seriously, and still finds moments to laugh during a busy day.
