Overview
We are seeking a customer-focused
Client Service Representative to manage day-to-day client inquiries, build strong client relationships, and ensure a high level of service delivery. This role serves as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, partnering with internal teams to resolve inquiries, communicate updates, and proactively identify opportunities to improve the client experience.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced financial services environment while collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Client Service & Relationship Management
- Manage daily client inquiries and ensure timely resolution
- Proactively communicate inquiry status and updates to clients until completion
- Research, identify, and escalate issues that may impact client service
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve client requests and deliverables
- Meet regularly with client contacts to review open items and service needs
- Build strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service
- Analyze inquiry trends and recommend training, automation, or process improvements
Reporting & Operational Support
- Review internal reporting and reconciliations for assigned client relationships
- Escalate issues that could impact client servicing
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items
- Track and communicate the impact of business events that may affect clients or operations
- Meet regularly with management and peers to share insights and improve service delivery
Technology & Client Enablement
- Support adoption of client-facing platforms and technology solutions
- Communicate product enhancements and updates to clients
- Coordinate demonstrations and training sessions to improve client self-service capabilities
- Utilize technology tools to effectively manage inquiries and client interactions
Relationship Building & Collaboration
- Partner with internal product, operations, and service teams to improve the client experience
- Understand client organizational structures and identify appropriate contacts for issue resolution
- Participate in company events, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing opportunities
- Communicate effectively across teams and organizational levels
Risk & Compliance
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and best practices
- Exercise strong attention to detail when handling client information and communications
- Promote secure methods of information sharing and reduce unnecessary transmission of sensitive information
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and technologies
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-focused environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous client service, financial services, operations, or relationship management experience
- Experience supporting institutional clients or business-to-business relationships
- Experience reviewing reporting, reconciliations, or operational processes
- Strong presentation and client training skills
- Experience working with client-facing technology platforms
