    The Opportunity
    At Alera Group, our Employee Benefits team helps organizations attract, retain, and support their employees through innovative benefits solutions. As a Client Service Coordinator, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional client service, building trusted relationships, and helping clients navigate the complexities of employee benefits.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collect documents and coordinate meetings for client accounts
    • Handle administrative setup and maintenance of new accounts
    • Generate eligibility lists, enrollment files, and other standard intake documents
    • Process routine service requests including ID cards, eligibility changes, and billing adjustments
    • Maintain compliance calendars and accurately document client activity
    • Prepare renewal packages, census reports, plan grids, and renewal documentation
    • Support carrier communications and documentation requirements
    • Maintain and update agency management systems and other client records
    • Provide administrative follow-up on forms, billing corrections, and client requests
    • Communicate directly with clients to support service needs and ongoing account maintenance

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required Qualifications
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic technical skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to follow established procedures while working collaboratively with team members
    • Ability to learn insurance terminology, carrier relationships, plan types, and brokerage operations
    Licensure
    • Life and Health Insurance License not required at hire
    • Ability and willingness to obtain a Life and Health Insurance License to support career progression
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Prior customer service experience
    • Experience in an administrative, customer support, or account support role
    • Exposure to employee benefits, insurance, financial services, or a related industry
    • Experience maintaining records and working within business systems

    This position is Hybrid

    Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required to support office implementations, training, and collaboration with project teams.
